He particularly highlighted his recent accomplishment in leading the effort to secure $350 million in funding for FRC East, supporting over 4,000 jobs. Perry emphasized the importance of economic prosperity transcending county lines, benefitting areas such as MCAS Cherry Point and fostering a multi-county economic footprint in Eastern NC.

His educational journey includes graduation from Lenoir Community College, NCSU, and earning an MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Perry’s professional background in the health care industry, culminating in his role as Chief Operating Officer of a company with a significant national presence, provides a valuable foundation for his leadership in the Senate.
